I’m Arielle Harvey, founder and lead trainer at Venture Canine Training, based in Tampa, Florida. I live with my Golden Retriever, Kodiak, and am passionate about helping dog owners build fulfilling relationships with their canine family members.
At Venture Canine Training, we emphasize a balanced, permission-based training technique designed to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Our approach is holistic -- focusing on the whole dog, building confidence, and fulfilling breed-specific needs for mental and physical stimulation. Using positive reinforcement ensures that training is an enjoyable experience for both you and your dog.
By making expectations clear and using consistent, positive reinforcement, we teach dogs that "no" means no and "yes" means yes. This clarity helps eliminate confusion and fosters a strong leader-follower relationship, where your dog knows exactly what is expected of them.
Our goal is to create a harmonious relationship built on trust, love, and mutual respect. By working closely with both the dog and the owner, we ensure that the training is effective and long-lasting.
